What is Payroll?
Payroll is the process of managing and processing employee compensation for a specific pay period. Built by Bizmap Technologies on the Frappe/ERPNext platform, the USA Payroll app calculates employee earnings, deductions, taxes, and net pay, then generates salary slips (check stubs) based on your configured salary structures and payroll settings.
The module also handles US specific compliance, federal tax withholding, FICA (Social Security & Medicare), ACH direct deposit, printed checks, and the annual/quarterly tax forms (W2, W3, and Form 941).
